Dr. Catherine Atnas is a Clinical Psychologist with considerable experience working in primary care settings and is currently based in a Central London NHS Specialist Service.
Having obtained a Psychology BSc at Royal Holloway, University of London, she went on to complete a Masters in Clinical and Public Health Aspects of Addictions. After working for some time within inpatient addictions services, she went on to complete a Post graduate diploma in Neuro-psychological Medicine.
Following completion of her Doctorate at the University of Surrey, Dr. Atnas obtained a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is an accredited CBT therapist. She has further specialist training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Group Schema Therapy.
Dr. Atnas has experience in the treatment of a range of emotional difficulties, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, sexual problems and post-natal depression. Her special interests include obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety and phobias.
