Associate Nutritionist and Nutritional Therapist

Isa Robinson is a registered associate nutritionist (ANutr), Nutritional Therapist (mBANT) and certified Intuitive eating counsellor with a special interest in eating disorders, disordered eating and nutrition for mental health. She firmly believes that the way we think and feel about food is just as important as what’s on our plates and that all foods can fit in a varied and balanced diet. Isa completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Edinburgh where she based her thesis on the rise of clean eating and how it may be used as a mask for restrictive eating.

Following this, she completed her masters in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition at University College London, obtaining a distinction. Isa has gone on to undertake reputable training in body image, motivational interviewing, intuitive eating and nutritional psychiatry. Her most recent research was published in the European Eating Disorders Review which explored the impacts of eating disorders on caregivers. As well as her own work in private practice, Isa works closely with the UK’s leading Eating Disorder charity BEAT and also partners with schools. She is passionate about raising awareness amongst young people about nutrition misinformation, especially that spread on social media.

Isa has undertaken placements within the NHS and private settings, and across a range of ages. She particularly enjoys working with young people. Her approach fuses evidence-based nutrition science with psychological modalities to help individuals feel empowered around food.
