Dr Leslie Muetzelfeldt completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London in 2012. She is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist specialising in adult mental health, neuropsychology, and health psychology. She has extensive experience of working with clients facing a range of issues including depression, anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, chronic pain, somatic complaints, medically unexplained symptoms and their co-occurring mental health difficulties, adjustment, trauma and loss.
Her NHS experience has included adult mental health and physical health services and medical settings; working with both individuals and families.
Dr Muetzelfeldt has trained in multiple specialist approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches. She uses an empathic and non-judgemental integrative approach to offer tailored formulation and treatment, based on the individual client and their needs.
