Schools and Education

At The Chelsea Psychology Clinic, we take pride in offering bespoke, tailored support to meet the unique needs of every client. Our highly skilled, multidisciplinary team brings a wealth of clinical and organisational expertise, allowing us to address a wide range of challenges effectively.

We understand that schools and education providers have evolving needs, and we are committed to offering flexible, responsive interventions that align with those requirements. We firmly believe that a whole-school approach to mental health creates an environment where young people can truly thrive. For further guidance, the Department for Education’s resource, Promoting and Supporting Mental Health and Wellbeing in Schools and Colleges, provides valuable insights on how to implement this effectively.

Our key areas of support

In line with the eight principles of a healthy school, The Chelsea Psychology Clinic offers a range of bespoke services to help schools address unmet needs. These can be accessed as standalone services or as part of a comprehensive package.

Targeted support & referrals

We provide direct access to clinical assessment and treatment for pupils and families—either on-site at your school or at one of our central London clinic locations. Interested in an on-site, school-based clinician? We can provide regular clinical services within your school.

Working with parents & carers

We offer workshops for parents, carers, and students covering a range of mental health and wellbeing topics. These sessions help caregivers build confidence and develop effective strategies to support young people. Sessions can be delivered online or in person.

Staff development

  • Supervision: Healthy schools need healthy staff. We provide individual clinical supervision, group supervision, and senior leadership coaching to support staff wellbeing and resilience.
  • Training: We offer a wide variety of staff training on mental health and wellbeing, including INSET day workshops tailored to your school’s needs.

Policy and procedure development

Looking to develop or refresh your school’s mental health and wellbeing policies? Our team has extensive experience in creating policies that are both evidence-based and practical, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into school governance while incorporating student voice.

Next Steps

This is not an exhaustive list but provides examples of the support we regularly offer to schools. Our first step is always a conversation—spending time with your team to understand your school’s unique needs and explore the best approach.
