Alena Todorov

Psychotherapist

Ms Alena Todorov first began her training with an MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology at West University of Timisoara, before going on to complete a Level 7 qualification in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy at the Transactional Analysis Counselling and Psychotherapy Institute (TA East London Institute) in 2023. Her path has taken them through psychotherapy and counselling services, where she has supported adults, relationships, and groups, and into coaching and organisational wellbeing, which has shaped the way she now works with clients.

In the therapy room, Ms Todorov brings a thoughtful, integrative approach. She draws on training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, psychodynamic approaches, transformative coaching, somatic awareness, and elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and a particular interest in complex relational dynamics, developmental and attachment-based themes, and experiences of difference and belonging.

Ms Todorov offers a reflective and collaborative therapeutic process, supporting clients to explore patterns of relating, identity, and change at a pace that feels respectful and attuned to their individual needs.

She works with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, mood-related difficulties, relationship difficulties and attachment issues, identity development, life transitions, and experiences of neurodiversity in adult life (ADHD and ASD), and has specialist experience in complex relational dynamics and attachment-based work.

Alongside her therapy work, Ms Todorov is also involved in coaching, group facilitation, and organisational wellbeing initiatives, reflecting their passion for helping people create lasting, meaningful change in their lives.
