Andrea Clares first began her training with a BSc in Nutrition at the University of Nottingham, before completing an MSc in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition at University College London, during which she also worked as an intern at a specialist eating disorders clinic. She is a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) and a ‘Health At Every Size’-aligned clinician specialising in eating disorders, disordered eating, and intuitive eating.
In her work with clients, Andrea takes an individualised, evidence-based approach, drawing on training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Enhanced (CBT-E) and body image work. She is passionate about empowering clients to reclaim their freedom around food and heal their relationship with food and their bodies, and she integrates other aspects of life, such as mental health, support systems, and self-care, into her work. Andrea strives to create a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel supported in their recovery journey.
Andrea works with individuals facing challenges related to eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, intuitive eating, as well as those seeking support with everyday eating habits and a healthier relationship with food.
She is currently completing training to become a certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor.
