Mr Calin Hopsitar completed his undergraduate degree in psychology and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Babes-Bolyai University in Romania. After relocating to London, Mr Hopsitar graduated from King’s College London with an MSc in Neuroscience with distinction.
As a clinical psychologist, Mr Hopsitar has built a diverse experience of working across a wide age group in multiple settings. Mr Hopsitar has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in general adolescent units and adult acute mental health units. He also has specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Schema Therapy. Additionally, he offers therapy to couples using Gottman Couples Method Therapy.
Throughout his career, Mr Hopsitar has extended learnings from his academic research into his practice, which allows him to offer the latest and most up-to-date interventions and treatments to his clients. He has a special interest in Eating Disorders (children, adolescents, and adults), Stress-related Disorders, Personality Disorders, Depression, Trauma and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders.
Mr Hopsitar is also interested in helping corporate clients implement customised mental health programs for their employees; he believes workspace wellbeing is crucial for organisational success.
