Dr Catherine Atnas is a Clinical Psychologist with considerable experience working in primary and secondary care settings, as well as working within acute mental health settings within the NHS.
Following completion of her Doctorate at the University of Surrey, Dr Atnas obtained a post-graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is an accredited CBT therapist. She has further specialist training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Group Schema Therapy, and also draws on compassion-focused therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy when working with clients.
Dr Atnas has experience in the treatment of a range of emotional difficulties, including depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Personality Disorders.
