Dr Emilios Lemoniatis first began his training with a qualification in Medicine at King’s College London, graduating with honours, before going on to complete specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within the NHS, alongside qualifying training in Systemic and Family Therapy. His path has taken him through a wide range of CAMHS settings—including community, inpatient, and complex care—where he has supported children, young people, and families with diverse and often high-risk presentations.
In the therapy room, Dr Lemoniatis brings a relational, systemic, and developmentally informed approach. He draws on training in systemic family therapy, psychiatric formulation, and integrative therapeutic models, and a particular interest in prioritizing trust and psychological safety as the foundation for all therapeutic work, but most importantly, he adapts what he does to fit the person in front of him.
Dr Lemoniatis tailors his style to the individual, creating a safe space for young people and families to feel genuinely heard before moving collaboratively toward shared understanding and intervention.
All clinicians at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic are trained to conduct comprehensive assessments, considering you as a whole person rather than a specific issue. They tailor treatment and integrate multiple therapeutic perspectives to create a plan that is both evidence-based and uniquely suited to you.
Dr Lemoniatis works with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress, emotional dysregulation, trauma, behavioural challenges, and family or relationship difficulties, and has specialist experience in neurodiversity, complex presentations, and the impact of adverse experiences. Whatever someone is struggling with, Dr Lemoniatis aims to offer support that recognises and respects their unique needs and experiences.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Lemoniatis is also involved in service development and clinical innovation, reflecting his passion for how digital platforms, social prescribing, and creative health approaches can enhance access and outcomes in mental health care.
