Dr Florence Ingall first began her training with a BSc (Hons) at the University of Exeter, before completing an MSc in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology at University College London. She then undertook a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) at the University of Surrey. Her path has taken her through NHS services, supporting children, adults, and older adults, which has shaped the way she now works with clients.
In the therapy room, Dr Ingall draws on training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Systemic Family Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). She seeks to provide a safe and welcoming space, and when working with children, she enjoys bringing creativity into sessions, recognising that emotions or experiences can sometimes be difficult to verbalise. All clinicians at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic are trained to conduct comprehensive assessments, considering you as a whole person rather than a specific issue. They tailor treatment and integrate multiple therapeutic perspectives to create a plan that is both evidence-based and uniquely suited to you.
Dr Ingall works with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Emotional Dysregulation, Eating Disorders, Substance Misuse, ADHD, ASD, and Child Behavioural Issues, and has specialist experience in Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Substance Misuse, Paediatric Hospital Settings, and Trauma-Focused Children’s Services. Whatever someone is struggling with, Dr Ingall aims to offer support that recognises and respects their unique needs and experiences.
