Dr Marina Ulanova first began her training with a BSc in Psychology, before going on to complete a PGDip in Psychological Intervention (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), a PGCert in Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies, a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DCounsPsy) and a certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling at the at the University of Oxford. Her path has taken her through NHS and private services, where she has supported young people, adults, and older adults, shaping the way she now works with clients.
In the therapy room, Dr Ulanova brings a flexible and integrative approach, drawing on specialist training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Humanistic Therapy, Schema Therapy (ST), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Schema Therapy. Dr Ulanova is passionate about deeply understanding and compassionately supporting people to live healthier, happier lives.

Whatever someone is struggling with, Dr Ulanova aims to offer support that recognises and respects their unique needs and experiences.
Alongside her therapy work, Dr Ulanova is involved in leadership, organisational consultancy, and clinical supervision, reflecting her passion for combining clinical expertise with organisational understanding to support people and teams effectively.
