Dr Nicole Harvey completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at The University of Nottingham, following which she completed an MSc in Criminological Psychology and a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology, both at the University of Nottingham. She is currently working as a Forensic Psychologist in a London NHS Trust.
Dr Harvey has a range of experience working across the spectrum of clinical severity with different client groups including children, adolescents, and adults.
She is experienced in helping clients struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidality, and complex trauma.
Dr Harvey uses an integrative approach, drawing on Schema Therapy, Dialectic Behavioural Therapy, Mentalisation-Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques to tailor the therapy to clients’ individual needs.
Dr Harvey believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and collaboration between client and therapist to achieve the best outcomes for the client.
