Dr Nicole Harvey

Forensic Psychologist

Dr Nicole Harvey first began her training with a BSc in Psychology at The University of Nottingham, before completing an MSc in Criminological Psychology and a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology, both at The University of Nottingham. She is currently working as a Forensic Psychologist in a London NHS Trust.

In the therapy room, Dr Harvey brings an integrative, client-centred approach, drawing on training in Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mentalisation-Based Therapy (MBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She adapts what she does to fit the needs of the individual and places particular importance on the therapeutic relationship and collaboration to achieve the best outcomes.

All clinicians at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic are trained to conduct comprehensive assessments, considering you as a whole person rather than a specific issue. They tailor treatment and integrate multiple therapeutic perspectives to create a plan that is both evidence-based and uniquely suited to you.

Dr Harvey works with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress/burn out, interpersonal difficulties, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidality, complex trauma, and personality disorders. Whatever challenges someone is facing, Dr Harvey is committed to providing support that honours their individuality and unique experiences.
