Dr Nicole Hudson completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The University of Leicester following a MSc in Forensic Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who also leads a specialist service in a Central London NHS Trust alongside her work with The Chelsea Psychology Clinic.
Dr Hudson has extensive experience working with a range of difficulties including anxiety, low mood, trauma, emotional and relational difficulties and self-harming behaviour. She enjoys working with a range of ages including children, young people and adults.
Dr Hudson uses integrative approaches in her work and has specialist training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family based treatment (FBT) and compassion focused therapy (CFT). She includes systemic and narrative approaches and enjoys being creative in sessions. Her special interests include working with individuals with ADHD, autism and supporting families who are struggling with eating disorders.
Dr Hudson also has experience of working within organisational development teams to support staff wellbeing, team cohesion and increase psychological safety. This has developed her keen interest in enhancing these areas through delivering bespoke psychological interventions.
