Dr Noora Ovaska-Stafford is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her BSc in Psychology at the University of Surrey in 2007 and continued to complete both a MA in Psychology and MSc in Clinical and Public Health Aspects of Addiction. She completed her doctorate at the University of Leicester.
Dr Ovaska-Stafford is expert in neuropsychological assessments, neuropsychological and cognitive rehabilitation, and talking therapies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
Dr Ovaska-Stafford has worked with various adult client groups including people with neuropsychiatric, neurological, and neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., ADHD). She is also experienced in providing social cognition and emotion regulation group intervention to people with Autistic Spectrum Condition. Dr Ovaska-Stafford uses a mixture of methods in her work and tailors interventions to suit the individual and their needs.
