Hayley has over 25 years of experience working with individuals and families, including children, teenagers, and adults. More recently, she has also begun working with older adults and life transitions. She welcomes clients of all ages and backgrounds. Hayley has experience supporting same-sex couples, post-adoption families, and those navigating mental or physical health challenges. She has worked across Social Care, the NHS, and the private sector.
Trained in EMDR and mindfulness, Hayley considers whether these approaches may be helpful in clinical sessions. She is accredited by the UKCP as a systemic family and couple psychotherapist and is also registered with AFT, the regulatory body for family therapy.
Hayley treats a range of relationship challenges for couples and families. This includes concerns about intimacy, communication difficulties, and unresolved issues from the past.
For families, Hayley treats parenting concerns, such as worries about a child’s emotions, behavior, or performance at school. She also supports families navigating neurodiversity-related challenges, helping them understand the impact and develop effective strategies. Additionally, Hayley treats parents adjusting to new roles as stepparents and those experiencing difficulties related to divorce and separation.
