Dr James Bisby

Clinical Outcomes Lead

Dr James Bisby first began his training with a PhD in Psychopharmacology from University College London, where his research examined the impact of traumatic experiences on memory and how these changes contribute to ongoing psychological symptoms. His path has taken him through roles in cognitive neuroscience research and teaching, shaping the way he supports mental health services.

As Clinical Outcomes Lead at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic, Dr Bisby organises the implementation, collection, and analysis of patient outcome measures, using data to evaluate and optimise treatment outcomes and client experiences.

Alongside his work at the Clinic, Dr Bisby is a lecturer in mental health sciences at University College London, teaching research methods and the evidence base supporting mental health interventions.

Whatever someone is struggling with, Dr Bisby’s work helps ensure that services are evaluated and informed by data to support effective, evidence-based care.
