Jenny Allaybeu is a Registered Mental Health Nurse who completed her professional qualification at King’s College London and has completed specialist post-qualification studies in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. She works with children, young people, adults, and families experiencing mental health and emotional difficulties, primarily in crisis settings.
In the therapy room, Ms Allaybeu brings a warm, relational and flexible approach. She works collaboratively with individuals and families, exploring together what has brought them to therapy, reflecting on their experiences, and considering their goals for change. She draws on training in Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, and Systemic/Family Therapy, tailoring her approach to the needs of each individual or family.
All clinicians at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic are trained to conduct comprehensive assessments, considering you as a whole person rather than a specific issue. They tailor treatment and integrate multiple therapeutic perspectives to create a plan that is both evidence-based and uniquely suited to you.
Ms Allaybeu works with individuals and families facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem difficulties, stress/burnout, trauma, OCD, ADHD, and ASD. Whatever someone is struggling with, Ms Allaybeu aims to offer support that recognises and respects their unique needs and experiences.
