The therapeutic approaches that are very helpful for pain management are mindfulness-based. So, of course, pain and especially chronic pain is something that one might have to learn to live with in a long-term way, which can be extremely difficult. Mindfulness is an approach to help us accept reality as it is in the moment without any judgement. So it can be very helpful in managing some of the symptoms of chronic pain. In fact, it was developed predominantly for those types of difficulties.
