So there are a range of treatments available for eating disorders. I’m specialised in acceptance and commitment therapy, which is a new wave of therapy. I’m specialising in helping people focus on what really matters to them. So someone with an eating disorder typically struggles with their eating for a variety of different reasons. And either way of coping with difficult emotions. And acceptance and commitment therapy can be useful in helping people to focus on the values in their life, what really matters to them, and trying to focus the treatment that way. And to try and help them to get the best out of their life and to live in a really valued and meaningful way to them.
