A mood stabiliser is a type of medication that’s mostly used in bipolar disorder, which is meant to reduce the severity or even stop completely the mood swings that take place in that disorder. These medications are also sometimes used for other conditions, such as recurrent depression and people who experience emotionally intense difficulties.
