Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, also known as CBT, is a behavioural therapy that really focuses on developing an understanding about the relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It really looks at the kinds of what we call vicious cycles that can develop between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that can keep us really stuck in our difficulties and keep us from moving forward in things, especially things like, for example, we feel really stuck in a loop of anxiety in certain situations or in depression.
