Obsessive compulsive disorder is a disorder where people have difficulties with obsessive thinking patterns and feelings. They can have lots of very intrusive thoughts about really bad things happening. They can get stuck in loops about those bad things. And alongside that, they might have urges to behave in ways to prevent those bad things from happening. So we may find that people kind of check things very regularly. They might engage in excessive washing. They might isolate themselves.
