So someone with anorexia typically struggles with their eating in terms of really restricting how much food they intake so they might starve themselves or eat very, very little amounts to try and keep their calorie intake to the bare minimum possible, whereas someone with bulimia typically binges and purges. So they might eat up large quantities of calories in one sitting and then they might make themselves vomit afterwards to try and cope with the amount of calories that they’ve just might eaten.
