I think it’s important to seek treatment for social anxiety when you find it’s impacting on your quality of life. So it’s really ordinary for us to have some experience of anxiety in social settings, but if it’s got to the point where it’s stopping you actually dealing with things that you enjoy or the things that you want to be doing with your life, or stopping you progressing in your career, stopping you having the kind of relationships you want, the kind of social life you want, then that would be a time to seek, to seek treatment.
